How do I set up Digital Download Bundles?

Digital Download Bundles offer a new way to price High-Res Downloads for your customers based on the number of downloads they are purchasing. Tiered Pricing Digital Bundles are ideal for presenting a "Buy More, Save More" approach to your customers.

The new bundles can be configured on any price sheet in your account by navigating to the Digital Products tab.

If you do not have a High-Res Download product on your Digital Products tab like seen in the screenshot below, click the '+' button and select the High-Res download product.

Decide on a Digital Download Bundle Strategy

Your Retail Price is important to consider before building Digital Download Bundles, so make sure you have a final Retail Price in place. This is the price a customer will pay for a single a la carte download and it will be used to calculate the discounts for your bundle pricing.


​Tiered Pricing Digital Download Bundles are ideal for upselling in the storefront and in the cart, promoting discounts based on a "Buy More, Save More" approach.

Max Price Digital Download Bundles should only be used when you'd like to offer a fixed price for any amount of downloads over a certain quantity. These do not offer the same upsell opportunities in the storefront or cart, but they are a great solution if you have a contracted max price with your organization.

Once you know which type you'd like to proceed with on this price sheet, click the High-Res Download product to open the edit modal and toggle on your preferred bundle.

NOTE: Only one type of bundle can be included per price sheet, and Social Sharing Downloads are not eligible for bundle pricing.


How-to: Tiered Pricing Bundles

Tiered Pricing Digital Bundles allow you to offer automatic discounts to customers based on the number of images that they would like to purchase as High-Res downloads. If you currently offer multiple packages with varying quantities of High-Res downloads, Tiered Pricing bundles can replace all of these!

Tiered Pricing allows you to set up to 5 different tiers of image counts with increasing discounts for each range. The discounts can be applied either by setting a decreasing price per photo (PPP) or an increasing percentage discount off of the retail price. Editing one column will update the other automatically.

Always make sure to set up a tier completely before you move on to adding the next one. The edits you make to a tier will be used to predict the next tier's values.

Each tier must present an increased discount from the previous tier. You won't be able to save your changes unless you have increasing discounts.

How-to: Max Price Bundles


Max Pricing allows you to set the Max Retail Price for a variable amount of downloads, up to a max quantity that you set.

Customers will only pay the Max Retail Price if (purchase quantity of downloads) x (Retail Price per download) is greater than the Max Retail Price. Until they reach this break point, they will pay the a la carte Retail Price per download.

Example Scenario

Retail Price per download: $20

Max Allowed Digitals: 10

Max Retail Price: $100

In this scenario, since the Max Retail Price is $100 and price per download is $20, only customers selecting to buy 5-10 downloads would pay the Max Retail Price. Customers purchasing 1-4 downloads will pay the retail price of $20 per download.

To be effective, your Max Retail Price should carry value and never exceed

(Max Allowed Digitals) x (Retail Price per download), $200 would be that calculation in the example above.
