Support for existing Galleries Apps (iOS and Android) will be discontinued on April 1, 2022.
While we will be saying goodbye to the iOS and Android native apps in 2022, we’re also paving the way for new features to replace the apps’ functionality by leveraging the latest in tech to enhance the customer experience. We can’t say much more about it just yet, but we can’t wait to showcase all of the new features later this year.

If a customer runs into an issue, ask them to delete the app and shop in a mobile or desktop web browser.

Can customers still shop from their smartphones?
100% Absolutely. We will always keep things mobile-first. 88% of all customers are shopping from their smartphones with PhotoDay. However, only 18% of lifetime purchases in PhotoDay happened via the native app(s).
Instead of instructing your customers to download the app, simply point them to galleries.photoday.io (or to text their access code to 90738, like always).
Can I still instruct customers to use the apps until 7/1/22?
We do not recommend telling your customers to download the Gallery Apps this spring season. Doing so might result in a variable user experience due to lack of support between April and July.
When can I expect to know more about new features and updates?
We are excited to share more in the next few months. We can’t wait for customers to enjoy a whole new shopping experience!
