Why is PhotoDay archiving inactive accounts?
To maintain a secure, reliable platform and ensure cloud storage is reserved for active studios, PhotoDay periodically archives accounts that have not published a job in an extended period.
If your account is selected for archival, you'll receive advance notice and have 30 days to keep your account active by publishing a new job.
What happens when my account is archived?
Your account is moved from active cloud storage to secure long-term offline storage.
Nothing is deleted, but your account and its contents are no longer immediately accessible until the account is restored.
Will my photos be deleted?
No. Your photos are not deleted. They are securely preserved in long-term storage and can be restored if you decide to begin using PhotoDay again. Please note that PhotoDay is not a backup solution and does not guarantee restoration.
Can I still log into my account?
No. Once an account has been archived, you'll no longer be able to sign in until the account has been restored.
Can parents still access galleries or place orders?
No. Archived accounts are inactive, so galleries and online ordering are no longer available until the account has been restored.
Can I reactivate my account later?
Absolutely. If you decide to return to PhotoDay, simply contact our Customer Success team, and we'll restore the appropriate data for your account. Please allow approximately five business days for the restoration process.
Is there a fee to restore my account?
No. There is no charge to restore an archived account.
How do I prevent my account from being archived?
Simply publish one new job before your archival deadline.
Publishing a job immediately keeps your account active, and no further action is required.
