Why Black & White?

With online selling, your photos are your inventory—the more photos you offer, the more you can sell. You can achieve this by capturing multiple poses on picture day, but the easiest way to double your inventory is by adding black and white edits to your gallery.

So we made it free and simple for you to do just that in mere minutes. No extra editing, exporting, or manual management—everything is done right within PhotoDay.

All of our post-processing services dramatically streamline your post-picture day workflow, allowing you to get your galleries posted quicker than ever. So you can step away from the computer and get back to photographing, growing your business, or booking a vacation. Learn more about why you should offer black and white edits.

Examples

How to submit a Black & White job

After you've created a job, navigate to the Services section and click the + or “Add your first post-processing job here”

This opens a window where you can select which Post-Processing services you wish to use. In this case, select Black & White and then click “Create.”

This will bring you to the Post-Processing timeline, where you can now upload which photos you’d like to transform into black and white. Upload your photos as either a group of files or a folder of images.

After you’ve uploaded your photos, you’ll be required to review them—just to make sure everything you want is in there. Click Done.

Then Submit and "Agree and Submit"

And your photos will be automatically edited in a matter of minutes. You’ll receive an email when it’s done!

After your photos are complete, you can then move both the edited and original photos directly to your job. The black and white filenames will be appended with "_BW"

Next, publish them in the gallery!
